Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Director of Product Management for Security Products to shape the next wave of security offerings beyond Cribl Detect. You will own strategy, write PRDs, and lead cross-functional teams to decide what to build, partner, or buy.

You will collaborate with CISOs and SOC teams to validate direction, craft business cases, and ensure native interoperability with Cribl Detect across the platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or closely related role, with 5+ years building security products.
• Deep understanding of security operations – SIEM, detection engineering, incident response.
• Hands-on product experience in security areas: SOAR, ITDR/UEBA, AI or agentic security, or threat detection.
• Track record of taking a product from 0 to 1—problem discovery to paying customers.
• Portfolio-level thinking with market evaluation and business-case development.

Responsibilities

• Drive the strategy for the next wave of security products through market analysis and customer discovery.
• Build the business case for each area including market size and options (build/partner/buy).
• Lead execution: define product, write requirements, set success metrics, drive delivery from 0 to 1.
• Ensure Cribl Detect interoperability; unify data model, detections, alerts, workflows.
• Spend time with customers: CISOs, SOC managers, detection engineers, analysts.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and tech partners on positioning and launch.
• Grow the team: hire and mentor product managers.
• Represent Cribl security externally at events.
