Cribl, the B2B SAAS data observability leader, is seeking a Director of Product Management for Security Products. You will define the strategy for the next wave of security capabilities, evaluate opportunities beyond Cribl Detect, and decide build, partner, or buy.

You’ll lead the funding and the execution from initial customer conversations to launch. You’ll work with engineering, marketing, and sales to shape a portable platform that works seamlessly with Cribl Detect.

Competenze

• 10+ years in product management or a closely related role.
• 5+ years building security products.
• Deep understanding of security operations - SIEM, detection engineering, incident response.
• Hands‑on product experience in security automation and response (SOAR), identity security, AI or agentic security, or threat detection.
• Portfolio‑level thinking with market evaluation and clear recommendations.
• Leadership experience mentoring PMs and cross‑functional influence.
• Technical depth to discuss data architectures and AI/LLM‑based systems with engineers.
• Strong written communication and decision-making in writing.
• Good judgment under uncertainty, able to say what not to build.

• Define the product strategy for Cribl's security portfolio and prioritize the next investments.
• Build business cases with customers, market size, and options (build/partner/buy).
• Lead execution from requirements to delivery with engineering.
• Ensure the new capabilities integrate with Cribl Detect on a shared data model.
• Engage with CISOs, SOC managers, and analysts to validate direction with customers.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and technology partners on positioning and launch.
• Grow the team by hiring and mentoring product managers.
• Represent Cribl security externally at events and with customers.
