Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Director Salesforce Platform to own the enterprise Salesforce roadmap, governance, and investments. This leader will partner across Sales, Service, Product, Security, and Finance to drive platform health, data integrity, and scalable architectures while enabling business value and innovation.

The role chairs the Salesforce CoE, guides distributed teams, and serves as the relationship owner with Salesforce, balancing risk, cost, and value across Ryder’s segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years in progressive technology leadership with responsibility for enterprise platforms, products, or customer-facing business applications.
• 10+ years in leadership of Salesforce or comparable enterprise SaaS/CRM platforms in a large, complex, multi-business-unit environment.
• 7+ years leading managers/senior professionals and maturing Salesforce CoE, platform operating model, governance, and portfolio-management capability.
• 5+ years leading Salesforce org/instance rationalization or consolidation, including data, integration, security, and change impacts.
• 5+ years in executive stakeholder management, vendor/commercial negotiations, financial planning, and business-case/benefit realization.

Responsibilities

• Chair the Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) and establish governance for Salesforce investments.
• Ensure platform health, security, reliability, and operational risk across Salesforce instances.
• Build durable relationships across Sales Operations, Service, Product, Security, Finance, and other leaders.
• Create guardrails for configuration, development, integration, data, identity, security, and DevSecOps.
• Lead platform rationalization, consolidation, and lifecycle management for Salesforce environments.
• Manage vendor, financial, and commercial aspects with Salesforce and partners.
