Job description

SeaWorld is a world-renowned leader in the themed-park and entertainment industry. Our success is built on a passion for caring for animals and a dedication to delivering positive, memorable experiences to people from around the world. We’re also committed to helping ambitious people achieve their professional best. We're always seeking exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable individuals to join our team.

What you get to do

Own the commercial growth agenda for one of our markets, a regional portfolio of parks within our family of SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Discovery Cove, Sesame Place and Waterparks brands. You will act as the commercial leader for the market. You'll define where growth comes from (which segments, channels and sources of demand) and turn that into a plan the business can execute. You'll partner closely with each park's executive team to shape the strategy. You'll also work with Finance, Marketing, Resellers, Revenue Management and other key partners from planning through execution. Success is measured by delivering revenue and attendance growth against plan for the market.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the multi-year commercial growth strategy for the market, turning revenue and attendance targets into a clear plan by segment, channel, geography and visitation source
  • Partner closely with the Park Executive Teams to shape the market's commercial strategy, align on priorities and make sure the plan reflects each park's opportunities and constraints
  • Work with Finance, Marketing, Resellers and other key partners across planning, strategy and execution, from target setting and annual plans through launch and performance tracking
  • Lead a team that runs growth planning, segment and channel strategy, and commercial performance analysis for the market
  • Define which customer segments to grow, defend or develop (locals, tourists, groups, international, pass members and others) and set the commercial priorities for each
  • Shape channel strategy across direct, e‑commerce, resellers, groups and partners, including mix, roles and growth targets
  • Partner with Revenue Management and Pricing & Offer to set the commercial direction that pricing, product and promotional decisions should deliver against
  • Build the analytics behind growth decisions: market sizing, segment economics, channel performance, demand drivers, competitive dynamics and a test‑and‑learn agenda
  • Identify and size new growth opportunities, such as underpenetrated segments, new channels, partnerships and source markets, and build the business case to pursue them
  • Act as the market’s commercial voice to the Senior Leadership Team, reporting on growth performance, risks and outlook
  • Bring new commercial practices, tools and ways of working into the market
