Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Director of Resource Planning to establish a new capability across the Studio Business Group. This leader will align capacity, staffing demand, external partnerships and internal sharing to inform executive decisions on investments and delivery.

The role demands a hands‑on leader who designs processes, analytics and reporting, partnering with Finance, HR, Production and Development Strategy to drive proactive planning across studios.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in resource planning, workforce planning and portfolio operations.
• Experience supporting complex product development or game development environments.
• Ability to connect workforce, financial and delivery data into insights.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and align stakeholders across a matrix.

Responsibilities

• Design and establish a resource planning capability across the Studio Business Group.
• Develop forecasting capabilities and executive insights to guide investments and staffing.
• Lead cross‑studio collaboration for internal resource sharing and capacity decisions.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations for outsourcing, vendor planning and sequencing.
• Build and coach a high‑performing Resource Planning team and establish governance.
