Sony Interactive Entertainment in San Mateo, California is seeking a Senior Director of Business Strategy & Planning to partner with the VP of Operations and lead the Strategy & Planning team responsible for the Studio Business Group’s operating system and performance view.

This role will translate complex business questions into actionable insights, own the executive rhythm with quarterly reviews, KPI reporting and risk management across studios, and guide cross‑functional decision making.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in business strategy and operations.
• Expertise in strategic planning and cross‑functional leadership.
• Proven ability to advise executives and shape enterprise-level decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Strategy & Planning team and set mandate and operating model.
• Own the executive operating rhythm including business reviews and KPI reporting.
• Coordinate across studios, Production, Finance, Technology and other partners to align strategy with execution.
• Translate complex questions into structured analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Coach team members in strategic thinking and executive communication.
