Sony Interactive Entertainment in San Diego, CA is seeking a Sr. Portfolio Business Analyst to own recurring portfolio operations and drive process improvements across planning, reporting, and resource management.

You will partner with Finance, Strategy, and cross‑functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and scalable portfolio outputs. You will collect and validate data from multiple sources, develop operational controls, and produce decision-ready reports while identifying gaps and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Operations, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
4–7 years of experience in portfolio operations, business operations, operational reporting, or similar.
Ability to own recurring processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
Identify risks, gaps, and exceptions and drive resolution with limited oversight.
Experience consolidating information from multiple stakeholders and source systems.
Strong business and data acumen to inform improvements.
Experience producing portfolio or operational reporting and translating inputs into clear information.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills in dynamic environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.
Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, OnePlan, Power Apps or similar platforms.
Experience developing operational documentation and training materials.
Experience in gaming, entertainment, technology, or software industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently own and execute recurring portfolio operational processes with accuracy and timeliness.
Collect, validate, consolidate, and maintain portfolio information from multiple stakeholders and source systems.
Oversee resource management activities, including estimates, actuals, and cost reporting.
Administer Time Editor processes, onboarding, compliance monitoring, and follow-up activities.
Produce recurring portfolio reports and ensure outputs are decision-ready.
Develop and maintain operational controls, templates, and training materials.
Monitor operations, identify gaps, and drive resolution with stakeholders.
Partner with Portfolio Enablement to translate needs into business requirements and test tooling enhancements.
Identify improvements to standardize processes, strengthen controls, and reduce manual effort.
Maintain documentation and training to support onboarding and continuity.
