Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Director for RI & Engineering Solutions in New Jersey to drive expansion of its Research Intelligence portfolio, including Scopus, SciVal, and Pure. You will secure new sales and grow existing customers, partnering with academic institutions on complex SaaS analytics and AI-enabled solutions.

The role requires proven enterprise software sales experience, strategic account planning, and the ability to work across senior executives in a global matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Experience with consultative, complex solution sales in the Academic Market or similar.
• Proven track record exceeding bookings targets and expanding strategic accounts.
• Ability to operate at tactical, operational and strategic levels with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Refining go-to-market strategy for Research Intelligence.
• Attaining bookings targets for Scopus, SciVal, and Pure portfolios.
• Apply consultative approach to client needs and translate into proposals.
• Formulate and execute account strategies across levels of accounts.
