Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Director of Industry Relations & Contracting to lead the rebate contracting team and optimize formulary economics for clients. The role focuses on contract strategy, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration with Pharma and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has PBM/health plan experience, a PharmD or MBA, and strong leadership with analytical cost modeling to support client outcomes. This is a remote position with travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D; MBA or applicable degree/experience preferred.
• At least 5 years PBM/Healthcare plan experience; rebate contracting/formulary management experience preferred.
• At least 1 year experience in contract negotiation (Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Part D) or equivalent.
• Pharmacist licensure in Wisconsin (unrestricted).
• Up to 20% travel time required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with Pharma, customers, Navitus, and partners.
• Ensure resources are in place to meet Navitus’ needs now and in the future.
• Develop and implement strategies for a competitive Pharma contract structure with agreements, analytics, and audits.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure rebates and discounts are understood; support P&T processes with financial modeling and presentations.
• Lead negotiations to expand rebate opportunities and lower net costs for clients.
• Lead, train, and develop the Navitus Contractor team for career growth.
• Other duties as assigned.
