Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Director to lead the R&D Global Portfolio and Project Management (GPPM) team. You will manage a portfolio of development projects across business verticals and chair the NPD governance board, ensuring effective execution and alignment with strategic goals.

You will mentor staff, shape processes, and collaborate across R&D, operations, and commercial teams to accelerate time-to-market while upholding GMP and SOP standards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Science or Engineering with strong project leadership
• Advanced degree in science, engineering or business is preferred
• PM leadership experience in Medical Device/Pharma is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of R&D project managers and coordinators.
• Oversee portfolio governance, budgeting, timelines, risk management and regulatory strategy.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Operations and R&D to optimize execution.
