Job summary

Bausch + Lomb seeks a Director to lead the GPPM team, overseeing a portfolio of R&D development projects across key business verticals. You will drive governance, set strategic direction, translate customer needs into product requirements, and ensure timely execution and resource planning.

You will mentor staff, partner with HR for talent development, and help advance global product strategies while maintaining top quality and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Medical Device/Pharma industry experience and 10+ years in R&D Project Management and Leadership.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving portfolio governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of R&D project managers and coordinators to execute projects.
• Govern NPD processes, governance boards, and cross-business initiatives.
• Translate customer needs into product requirements and plans.
• Guide project valuations, budgets, timelines, and risk management.
• Mentor staff and drive continuous process improvement across GPPM.
