Job summary

Bausch + Lomb seeks a Director to lead and develop the R&D Global Portfolio and Project Management team, guiding a portfolio of development projects across business verticals. You will drive governance, strategic alignment, and cross-functional execution to achieve launch-ready products.

You will mentor staff, shape process improvements, and participate in the Project Management Leadership Team to optimize the organization’s performance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Science or Engineering required.
• Advanced degree in science, engineering or business preferred.
• 10+ years in Medical Device/Pharma and 10+ years in R&D project management/leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of project managers and coordinators to ensure successful execution of projects.
• Mentor GPPM staff and drive leadership development across the team.
• Oversee the NPD governance board to ensure effective project strategy and execution.
• Align programs with strategic objectives through governance, tools, and standards.
• Develop global product strategies, budgets, timelines, risk plans, and regulatory launch planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Commercial, Operations, R&D) for portfolio support.
