Job summary

Bausch + Lomb seeks a Director to lead the R&D Global Portfolio and Project Management team, driving a portfolio of development projects across units such as Vision Care, Surgical, or Pharmaceuticals/Consumer. You will govern NPD processes, translate customer needs into product requirements, and shape strategy with cross-functional partners.

The role requires 10+ years in medical device/pharma R&D project leadership, strong governance skills, and PMP/MS Project proficiency, with a focus on

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Science or Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of Medical Device/Pharma industry experience.
• 10+ years of R&D Project Management and Leadership.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• PMP certification and MS Project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of project managers to ensure successful execution of projects and programs.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities for GPPM staff.
• Collaborate with HR to attract, retain, and grow high-performing talent.
• Cultivate a high-performance, inclusive culture focused on continuous improvement.
