Job summary

Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Director to lead the R&D Global Portfolio and Project Management (GPPM) team and oversee a portfolio of development programs. You will drive governance, translate customer needs into product requirements, and steward budgets and schedules across multiple business verticals.

You will mentor staff, contribute to global strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to accelerate time to market while ensuring regulatory and design control compliance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Science or Engineering; advanced degree in science, engineering or business preferred.
• 10+ years of Medical Device/Pharma industry experience and 10+ years in R&D project management and leadership.
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of R&D project managers and coordinators; oversee a portfolio of development projects.
• Chair the NPD governance board and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Mentor GPPM staff and contribute to cross-functional initiatives across R&D.
