Job Description:

AdMedia is looking for a highly motivated and multifaceted Director of Publisher Business Development to add to our growing team. In this role, you’ll leverage your industry contacts to cultivate partnerships with publishers. You will also prospect and conduct outreach to build new relationships with publishers. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of being detail oriented, demonstrates excellent communication skills, and is excited about working in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of and experience in digital media and search advertising is required. Those who have existing relationships with digital publishers will be of the highest level of interest and likely have the shortest ramp time once hired for the position. Initial and ongoing technical training on our products and services will be provided. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Quickly become well-versed in our industry-leading products and services across search, mobile and display advertising
  • Demonstrate clear ability to prospect and drive acquisition of new relationships
  • Network and engage with prospective clients to generate sales leads
  • Cultivate a business development strategy to achieve the appropriate growth for the business & provide quarterly forecasts of expected growth
  • Penetrate target accounts at corporate levels to develop an intimate understanding of customer's business, technical issues and organizational structure, and document using appropriate systems
  • Move client prospects through the funnel from consideration to executed contract
  • Effectively manage strategic partnerships
  • Conduct substantial research on clients to bolster outreach and pitches
  • Collaborate across in-house departments to ensure clients' ongoing and often changing needs are continuously met.
  • Maintain accurate and updated CRM data
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work remotely
  • 5+ years of experience building online publisher development deals
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to find, manage, and close high level enterprise business
  • Outgoing, friendly personality
  • Strong desire to network and connect with new people
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Data-savvy and comfortable discussing technology
  • Strong objection handler, with ability to think-on-feet
  • Ability to articulate a strong understanding of advertising campaign strategies
  • Masterful presentation and negotiation skills, both in-person and over the phone

Compensation Includes:

  • Base Salary + Commission
  • Uncapped commission on all booked revenue
  • Monthly and quarterly incentives/bonuses
  • Annual and semiannual incentives (Includes paid trips, spending cash, and/or additional PTO)
