AltaMed Health Services Corporation seeks a Director of Prospect Development to architect and guide a strategic donor development program. This leadership role drives advanced research, capacity modeling, and portfolio optimization to maximize principal gift revenue.

The candidate will align with executive leadership, oversee the prospect development team, and translate data insights into actionable fundraising strategies across California communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, computer science, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in fundraising and/or advancement services.
• Minimum 5 years supervising professional teams and managing enterprise-level initiatives.
• Mastery of APRA Body of Knowledge Level II with experience directing prospect management within CMIA or FQHC settings.
• APRA or AHP certification desirable.
• Experience with prospect research platforms (iWave, LexisNexis, WealthEngine) and CRMs (Raiser's Edge NXT, Salesforce).
• Experience with data analysis, statistics, and business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect and direct a comprehensive prospect development ecosystem.
• Lead strategies to identify prospective donors and optimize portfolio distribution.
• Develop metrics, goals, projections, and capacity/propensity analyses.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership and scale the department.
• Drive principal gift revenue through sophisticated capacity modeling and due diligence.
