Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corporation is seeking a Director of Individual Giving in a hybrid role at Commerce, CA. The position designs and grows the annual giving program, managing leadership gifts from $1,000 to $9,999 while guiding donors from first-time gifts to major giving, and overseeing multi-channel campaigns.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, including 3 years in leadership annual giving, with team leadership and Spanish

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, including 3 years in direct, face-to-face leadership annual giving solicitation.
• Proven experience managing fundraising programs with emphasis on the annual fund and revenue targets.
• Management of successful multi-channel fundraising campaigns is required.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring individual contributors.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and grow the individual annual giving program.
• Provide strategic oversight while managing a portfolio of leadership annual gift prospects in the $1,000–$9,999 range.
• Ensure a seamless donor journey from first-time donor to leadership donor.
• Lead and mentor fundraising staff and contributors to achieve revenue targets.
