Job summary
AltaMed seeks a Director of Prospect Development to architect and lead a strategic prospect development program, driving advanced research, portfolio management, and executive-level BI. This role partners with senior leadership to optimize donor identification and maximize principal gift revenue through capacity modeling and due diligence.
The candidate will lead a team to implement integrated strategies, build metrics, and elevate fundraising performance across programs and campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, data analytics, CS, or related field; master's preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of fundraising/advancement experience.
- Minimum of 5 years supervising teams and managing enterprise initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and direct a comprehensive prospect development ecosystem.
- Lead data-driven insights to drive philanthropy and executive decision-making.
- Partner with the foundation's leadership to optimize donor identification and portfolio distribution.
- Develop metrics, goals, projections, and capacity/donor propensity analyses.
