Job summary

Repligen seeks a Director of Proposal Management to lead enterprise-scale bioprocessing proposals, integrating equipment, consumables, automation, software, services, and select third-party technologies into complete customer solutions.

You will build a scalable proposal capability, recruit and mentor a team of Proposal Managers, and partner with business units to deliver timely responses, governance, and knowledge libraries while driving digital tool adoption and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, life sciences, business, operations, or a related technical discipline.
• 10 years of life sciences or bioprocessing industry experience, with proposals-related expertise.
• At least 5 years leading complex RFI/RFP/RFQ/URS activities for bioprocess equipment or integrated solutions.
• Strong understanding of upstream/downstream bioprocessing and CAPEX project lifecycle.
• Experience developing budgetary quotations and final proposals across multiple product lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal development from RFI/RFP through final proposal.
• Coordinate with cross-functional leaders to develop unified proposals across the portfolio.
• Establish governance, templates, and pricing tools for rapid, accurate budgetary proposals.
• Manage RFI/RFP/URS processes, reviews, approvals, and submission.
• Drive pipeline management and proposal governance to improve speed, quality, and risk control.
• Mentor and grow a team of Proposal Managers and maintain Libraries of response content.
• Lead digital tools adoption (AI-assisted URS/RFP, CPQ) with proper human controls.
