Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a Project Controls Manager to oversee controls practices across multiple projects. Location flexibility includes Fargo, Indianapolis, Centennial or Phoenix, with onsite scheduling when near an office and remote options with travel as needed.

The role requires a PM/CM/Engineering background, 8+ years in project controls, CPM experience, and a PMP preferred. You’ll mentor staff, drive forecasting, and optimize scheduling and cost performance across renewables projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of related experience in project controls or cost scheduling and planning.
• 2+ years of CPM schedule integration, or Cost Control and managing personnel.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience within large scale construction and/or EPC environments; renewables preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate project scope, plan and progress to all stakeholders.
• Provide management and training to project controls personnel on tools and procedures.
• Guide project management on analysis, forecasting, Time Impact Analysis and claims.
• Coordinate resources engaged in Project Controls activities.
• Analyze project data with upper management and propose scheduling and cost improvements.
• Lead reviews on performance, budgets, change management and progress.
• Develop and implement project controls practices and procedures.
• Assist/train in use of PM/Controls tools.
• Work independently on complex assignments.
• Complete performance reviews and develop assigned employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
