Job summary

Medline is seeking a Director of Product Master Data Management to lead the enterprise data strategy and establish a Center of Excellence for product data. You will partner with senior leaders to prioritize initiatives, enable governance, and drive automation and AI for data assets.

The role requires strategic leadership, cross-functional influence, and a track record of turning data into business value across healthcare operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 7 years of data management experience in a technology, business management and/or consulting role.
• At least 2 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people.
• Experience applying advanced knowledge of data manipulation and reporting tools.
• Experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
• Experience with project management.
• Experience with SAP and Informatica.

Responsibilities

• Lead Medline’s master data strategy and operating model anchored by product master data.
• Establish a centralized Master Data Center of Excellence to govern policies, taxonomy, critical data elements, workflows, controls, and platform design.
• Drive organizational change by shifting capacity from manual execution to governance, stewardship, taxonomy, and automation.
• Define and govern the enterprise product record and taxonomy standards across SAP, Informatica, and downstream platforms.
