Job summary

Highline Aftermarket is seeking an IT Director, Master Data Management, to lead and mature our enterprise MDM practice. You will own the MDM platform roadmap, data governance framework, and golden record strategy while mentoring a team of MDM product owners, technical leads, and analysts.

You will define survivorship rules, review match-merge logic, and resolve critical data quality incidents, partnering with executives and external suppliers to deliver a single trusted view of product,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years in master data management, data governance, or data management with 5+ years in leadership.
• Hands-on expertise with enterprise MDM platforms (EnterWorks, Informatica MDM, Reltio, Profisee or comparable).
• Strong knowledge of multi-domain data modeling, match-merge, survivorship, hierarchy management, and golden record creation.
• Experience aligning MDM with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce).
• Proven ability to manage teams, report on delivery metrics, and communicate to executives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority on enterprise MDM, including design patterns, data modeling, and golden record creation.
• Review complex MDM solutions to ensure data quality, scalability, and alignment with EA standards.
• Define and enforce MDM architecture standards including domain modeling and data quality rules.
• Lead root-cause analysis of critical data quality failures and guide durable resolutions.
• Develop and maintain MDM policies, standards, and governance procedures.
• Establish data governance strategies for product, customer, and vendor data domains.
• Define and monitor KPIs for data quality, integrity, completeness, and availability across domains.
• Oversee data stewardship activities and guide business users on master data processes and approvals.
• Own the MDM platform roadmap, multi-year strategy, and technology investments.
• Partner with EA, Integration, Data & Analytics, Applications, and Security teams.
• Represent MDM in IT governance forums and architecture review boards.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to identify data quality issues and drive remediation.
• Support major projects requiring master data expertise, including migrations and acquisitions.
• Establish and drive the MDM delivery framework (SDLC, Definition of Ready/Done, release management).
