Job summary

Hanwha Convergence USA seeks an experienced Director, Project Management & Controls to establish a centralized PMO for the U.S. SI portfolio.

You will govern project planning, controls, reporting, and risk management, guiding project managers and site teams through mobilization, execution, and closeout. The role requires leading a PMO staff, ensuring consistent portfolio reporting, and driving improvements across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in project management, project controls, PMO, construction management, or project delivery.
Experience overseeing multiple projects or a portfolio and field vs office execution.
Proven ability to improve PMO processes, governance, templates, systems, and reporting.
Strong scheduling, cost control, cash flow, forecasting, and risk/change management knowledge.
Experience with full project lifecycle from design to turnover and closeout.
Advanced Excel; practical experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, ERP systems, and dashboards; Power BI preferred.
English communication, leadership, and cross-functional skills; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Establish and govern PMO with standardized processes, templates, and dashboards across the U.S. SI portfolio.
Lead site mobilization, control structures, baselines, reporting, and escalation routines.
Drive recovery plans for schedule delays, cost exposures, and quality issues with cross-functional teams.
Provide hands-on site leadership to resolve priority issues and ensure accountability.
Develop PMO staff and ensure consistent portfolio reporting and compliance reporting.
