Job summary

Hanwha Convergence USA seeks a Director of Systems & Controls to provide strategic, technical, and operational leadership for utility-scale SCADA, PPC, solar, BESS and hybrid projects across multiple sites.

You will serve as the primary technical interface for customers and key partners, translating requirements into engineering deliverables, building a high-performing team, and guiding execution from proposal through closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Automation engineering or related field.
• 15+ years in utility-scale renewable energy, automation, SCADA, or systems integration.
• 7+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
• Experience with customer-facing roles and major stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Knowledge of MC, FAT, SAT, COD and project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Systems & Controls organization for SCADA, PPC, and controls.
• Translate customer requirements into technical deliverables.
• Build relationships with EPC contractors, Owners, developers, and utilities.
• Establish engineering standards, governance, and scalable processes.
• Oversee project execution milestones including FAT, SAT, and COD.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Software, Procurement, and Project Management.
