Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Director of Commercial BTS BPMO to lead governance, portfolio alignment, and operational excellence. You will partner with senior leaders to drive demand, resourcing, budget operations, and change adoption across the BTS program portfolio.

You will establish standardized PM practices, deliver executive visibility through dashboards, and guide strategic initiatives through complex, cross-functional execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, engineering, or related discipline with 9+ years of IT program/PMO leadership experience.
• Proven experience in project portfolio governance, budgeting operations, and cross-functional coordination.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies (PMI, Agile, hybrid) and executive-level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance for BTS portfolio, align with enterprise strategy and budgets.
• Develop enterprise dashboards and executive reports for performance metrics.
• Monitor cross-functional initiatives and escalate delivery risks.
• Oversee project health, risk management, and issue logs with mitigation plans.
• Standardize PM practices, templates, and governance processes across BTS.
