Job summary

BGBx is seeking a Vice President, Project Management Operations to lead operational excellence across complex, multi‑channel projects. You will manage a team of PMs and work with Account, Strategy, Creative, Medical, and Operations leaders to ensure delivery against goals.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of project management experience in pharmaceutical advertising or healthcare communications.
• Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams and overseeing complex, multi‑channel campaigns in HCP and DTC spaces.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• Strong leadership with ability to grow high‑performing teams.
• Deep understanding of agency workflows, budget management, and end‑to‑end production processes.
• Skilled in scalable project management methodologies and tools.
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and client‑facing skills.
• Proficiency in PM platforms (Workfront, Smartsheet, Asana) and operational reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of the project management function across key client portfolios.
• Lead a team of project managers and project directors with mentorship and performance management.
• Partner with senior agency leadership to align PM strategies with business objectives.
• Oversee project budgets, scopes, and timelines; ensure profitability and client compliance.
• Develop and refine operational processes, tools, and systems for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Escalate and mitigate project delivery risks and issues.
• Oversee Statements of Work (SOWs) with Finance and Business Management.
• Guide resourcing conversations and capacity planning with Resource Management.
• Maintain visibility across departments and contribute to agency initiatives and strategy.
• Represent PM discipline in executive forums on planning and growth.
