Job summary

AbbVie in the United States seeks a Director, Program Management to lead cross‑functional strategy across R&D Dev Sciences, PDS&T, CMC, and ME&C, ensuring alignment and on‑time delivery of strategic projects.

You will manage Initial Manufacturing expenses (IMX), develop budgets and cash flow, and partner with procurement to optimize capital and procurement activities while guiding teams through complex, multi‑disciplinary programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in science or engineering required; MBA preferred.
• PMP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interface with stakeholders across R&D Dev Sciences, PDS&T, CMC and ME&C to drive alignment and timely decisions.
• Develop and implement harmonized metrics and KPIs for strategic projects; publish dashboards for senior leadership.
• Plan, monitor and control IMX (Initial Manufacturing expenses) for strategic projects and provide cash flow projections.
• Collaborate with Procurement and ME&C to establish sourcing strategy and capex/opex controls.
• Provide inputs through cross-functional collaboration to concept studies, basic and detailed design, and procurement of capital equipment.
