Estée Lauder Companies seeks a Director of PLM Platform Engineering to define the engineering strategy and governance for the enterprise PLM platform. You will lead modernization, migrations to COTS PLM, and collaboration with Product, Enterprise Architecture, and SI partners to enable scalable product lifecycle capabilities across R&D, development, quality, and regulatory functions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Product Development, or a related technical discipline.
8+ years of progressive leadership experience governing enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms, engineering applications, or enterprise technology organizations within complex global enterprises.
Demonstrated experience leading engineering organizations responsible for enterprise PLM platforms supporting Research & Development, Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory business capabilities.
Deep understanding of enterprise Product Lifecycle Management processes, platform architecture, product structures, engineering change management, configuration management, and product development workflows.
Proven ability to develop long-term platform strategies that balance business priorities, technical sustainability, modernization objectives, engineering capacity, and operational excellence.
Experience supporting global Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or similarly complex multinational organizations is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead platform strategy, ownership, and lifecycle across global PLM capabilities including R&D, Product Development, and Manufacturing.
Define governance, release management, environment strategy, and delivery standards for enterprise PLM.
Partner with Product, Enterprise Architecture, and SI to deliver modernization initiatives and migrations to COTS PLM platforms.
Ensure regulatory compliance, data integrity, and validation readiness for GxP-relevant PLM implementations.
Balance modernization with engineering quality, stability, and long-term value across the enterprise landscape.
