Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead a senior engineering team within the Branch Technology domain. You will own strategy and delivery for software-defined platforms, driving AI-native engineering and scalable solutions across a large enterprise.

You will partner with product, risk, and technology leaders to ensure secure, high-velocity delivery in a complex financial services environment.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering and 10+ years of applied experience.
Experience leading cross-functional technologist teams and hiring talent.
Experience leading adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices with governance and security.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use and scalable engineering patterns.
Hands-on experience building enterprise-scale platforms with high availability.
Experience leading small, senior engineering teams in high-ownership environments.
Hands-on AI-native development—production systems with AI at the core.
Excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder alignment.
Practical cloud-native experience.
