Job summary

Insightsoftware is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead the Platform & Architecture vertical, delivering a greenfield Azure cloud-native equity platform and modernization of the existing CEM/app.

You will manage 4-6 teams, partner with Solution Architecture, Product, and UX, and own end-to-end delivery across broker integrations and the core CEM portfolio for 1,200+ customers.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience in enterprise SaaS environments.
• 5+ years leading multiple managers or senior managers at Director level or equivalent scope.
• Proven track record driving large, ambiguous, cross-functional programs to completion.
• Bias toward delivering small end-to-end slices that prove a concept works.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, code review standards, and definition-of-done discipline.

Responsibilities

• Own overall delivery accountability for modernization, defining the plan and sequencing execution.
• Partner with Solution Architect to translate direction into a resourced delivery plan.
• Advance Spec-Driven Development and AI practices; ensure alignment across Engineering, Product, and UX/Design.
• Own Engineering and QA/Automation for modernization while coordinating with product and UI/UX as partners.
• Establish delivery standards, identify blockers, and manage seams between teams.
• Provide clear, candid status updates to senior leadership.
