Job summary

Tier4 Group is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks that power AI-enabled solutions. This role blends platform engineering, cloud operations, DevOps, and emerging AI technologies with leadership exposure.

You will work with executives and development teams to deliver secure, scalable platforms, drive production readiness, and champion best practices across security, monitoring, and observability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Backend Development.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native services.
• Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience working with AI technologies, LLM platforms, or AI-enabled applications.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, secrets management, and operational best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across technical and business teams.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to support application delivery and platform reliability.

• Support cloud-native services, monitoring, identity management, and security best practices.

AI & Automation Initiatives

• Help build and support AI-enabled workflows, services, and business automation initiatives.
• Work with modern AI platforms, LLMs, and orchestration tools to support intelligent business processes.
• Contribute to AI observability, evaluation, monitoring, and governance practices.
• Assist in integrating AI capabilities into existing business applications and operational systems.
• Partner with leadership to evaluate emerging technologies and recommend scalable solutions.

Integration & Systems Enablement

• Build and maintain integrations across internal business applications and third-party platforms.
• Develop reusable services, APIs, and platform capabilities that accelerate future development.
• Support data movement, event-driven architectures, and operational reporting needs.
• Collaborate with external development partners to review solutions and ensure alignment with platform standards.
• Work directly with executives, business leaders, and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Take ownership of projects from design through implementation and production support.
• Provide technical guidance and help establish best practices across platform, DevOps, and AI initiatives.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Backend Development.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native services.
• Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar technologies.
