Job summary

Insightsoftware is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the Platform Services team in the modernization of critical services. This role requires expertise in C# and .NET across legacy and modern frameworks, as well as hands-on Azure cloud architecture experience.

As the technical authority, you will drive improvements in platform reliability, oversee observability practices, and champion AI-first engineering methodologies. The position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work fully remote within the USA.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in enterprise SaaS environments.
• Deep expertise in C# and .NET across framework generations.
• Strong Oracle Database proficiency, including complex SQL and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the platform's observability posture across all services.
• Drive SLO/SLI definition and expand alerting coverage.
• Serve as the senior technical authority for the Platform Services portfolio.
