Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership or management experience.
• Hands-on experience designing and building production software; still coding.
• Experience leading software teams and developing technical talent.
• Strong software architecture and system-design skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a software engineering team of 5–10.
• Personally write and ship production code.
• Design and build applications, APIs, integrations, and tools.
• Own software architecture, direction, standards, security, and reliability.
• Use AI-assisted development tools as part of daily workflows.
• Establish AI-assisted coding standards and productivity practices.
• Design scalable solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Review code and help engineers solve complex problems.
• Improve CI/CD, testing, deployment, monitoring, and observability.
• Lead technical planning and roadmaps; translate business needs to software.
