Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions in California seeks a Director, Industry Relations & Contracting to lead the IRC team in negotiating pharma rebates, contracts, and formulary strategies. You will provide cost modeling and budget impact analyses to support client formularies and drive value.

Requirements include 5+ years PBM/healthcare contract experience, rebate contracting expertise, and a pharmacist license (Wisconsin) with up to 20% travel. Lead a growing team and collaborate across Navitus functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D preferred; MBA or applicable degree or experience desired.
• At least 5 years PBM/Healthcare plan experience preferred with rebate contracting and formulary management.
• At least 1 year experience in contract negotiation with preference in Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare Part D rebate contracting.
• Pharmacist should have or could obtain an unrestricted licensure in Wisconsin.
• Up to 20% travel time required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with others.

Responsibilities

• Proactively building and maintaining strong relationships throughout Pharma, customers, Navitus, and partners.
• Ensuring appropriate Pharma sources and resources are in place to meet Navitus' needs.
• Developing strategies for a competitive Pharma contract structure with agreements, analytic processes, and audit programs.
• Working with Navitus operations to ensure rebates and discounts are understood; lead resolution of rebate issues; support P&T processes with modeling.
• Leading Pharma negotiations to expand high net rebates and achieve low net costs for clients.
• Lead, train and develop the Navitus Contractors team.
• Other duties as assigned.
