Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Director, People Programs, Systems & Analytics to lead objectives, roadmaps, and operating rhythms for People programs, systems, analytics, and AI. You will turn workforce data into insights to guide decisions and establish responsible AI use for People data.

You will build a capable team, partner with Legal/Security/IT, and translate strategy into measurable analytics and scalable HR tech. The role reports to the Senior Director, People Operations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in People Operations including 5+ years in leadership across People Programs, Systems, Analytics.
• Track record delivering organization-wide programs and cross-functional roadmaps.
• Experience building analytics, reporting, and dashboards for HR with AI enablement.
• Experience designing or improving HR system integrations for reliable data flows.
• Strong knowledge of HR technology, data quality, reporting, automation, and self-service insight.
• Experience evaluating AI use cases with privacy, governance and oversight.
• Excellent written communication, prioritization, program management and change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design vision, strategy, roadmap, governance, and operating rhythms for People programs, analytics and AI.
• Lead, coach, and develop a small, high-performing team with strong partnerships.
• Ensure onboarding, offboarding, data, compliance workflows, and international operations via HR tech.
• Design and evolve the People technology ecosystem; ensure scalable, secure systems.
• Establish data quality standards, governance, access, and trusted reporting for partners.
• Translate workforce data into executive-ready narratives and actionable workforce planning insights.
• Define a responsible AI strategy with governance, oversight, and adoption guidance.
• Partner to translate capability gaps into scalable learning experiences and measure impact.
• Lead change management for new systems, programs, policies, training, and adoption.
