Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Director of People Programs, Systems & Analytics to set objectives and roadmaps for People programs, systems, analytics and AI. You will lead a small team, govern responsible AI use of People data, and partner with Legal, Security, and IT to improve reporting and employee support.

The role reports to the Senior Director of People Operations and focuses on scalable, data-driven decisions across HR lifecycle, governance, and workforce planning in a remote US setting.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in People Operations with leadership across People Programs, Systems, Analytics, or similar.
• Experience delivering organization-wide programs, roadmaps, and cross-functional initiatives at scale.
• Experience building analytics, reporting, and dashboards for HR/Talent with AI enablement.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional partnership skills.
• Experience integrating HR systems and ensuring reliable data flows for scalable operations.
• Understanding of HR tech, data quality, governance, and self-service analytics.
• Experience evaluating AI use cases with privacy, governance, and human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design the vision, strategy, roadmap, governance, and operating rhythms for all People programs, systems, analytics and AI, aligning with business priorities.
• Lead, coach, and develop a small, high-performing team with a culture of execution and continuous improvement.
• Ensure programs across onboarding, offboarding, data, compliance workflows, and international operations are managed via the HR tech stack with analytics.
• Design and evolve the People technology ecosystem for integrated, scalable, secure systems.
• Establish data quality standards, governance, access, and reporting to enable self-service insights for partners.
