Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Director of People Programs, Systems & Analytics to set the strategy and operating rhythm for People programs, systems, analytics, and AI. You will lead a small team and partner across Legal, Security, and IT to enhance reporting, employee support, and efficiency.

You will drive governance, data quality, and scalable HR tech integrations while translating workforce data into actionable insights for leadership and business decisions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in People Operations, including 5 years leading across People Programs, Systems, People Analytics, or similar complex function.
• Experience selecting and optimizing HRIS and Talent systems at various company sizes.
• Proven track record in program management, roadmaps, and cross-functional delivery.
• Experience designing data analytics, reporting, and dashboards for HR/TA with AI enabling capabilities.
• Strong leadership, partnerships, and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design vision, strategy, roadmap, governance, and operating rhythms for People programs, analytics and AI.
• Lead and develop a small team with a culture of execution and continuous improvement.
• Ensure HR lifecycle processes can be managed through the HR tech stack with analytics.
• Evolve the People tech ecosystem to be integrated, scalable, secure and fit for purpose.
• Establish data quality standards and trusted reporting for partners and business teams.
• Design analytics translating workforce data into executive-ready insights and recommendations.
• Define a responsible AI strategy for People with governance and oversight.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate capability gaps into scalable learning experiences and measure impact.
• Lead change management for new systems, programs, and processes.
• Manage vendors and tradeoffs to maintain clarity of value and risk.
