Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a People Systems, Analytics and AI Manager to serve as the subject matter expert on HR systems and turn People data into actionable insights. You will build reports, dashboards, and analytics that tell the story of our workforce and leverage AI tooling to speed and enhance narratives.

This individual contributor role reports to the Director, People Programs, Systems and Analytics and collaborates with People Operations, Finance, and business leaders to drive data-informed

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in HR systems, People analytics, or HR operations.
• Expert-level knowledge of at least one major HRIS with report writing, calculated fields, and security configuration.
• Strong proficiency with analytics and visualization tools (SQL, Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and advanced spreadsheet skills.
• Demonstrated fluency with AI tooling to analyze data, generate insights, and build visualizations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the SME for HR systems (HRIS, ATS, performance, compensation, learning).
• Design, build, and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics on headcount, hiring, retention, engagement, compensation, and planning.
• Translate questions into metrics, definitions, analyses, and recommended actions.
• Use AI tools to accelerate analysis and storytelling with data.
• Establish and govern People data standards and ensure data quality.
• Protect employee data with privacy controls and collaborate on responsible AI use.
• Own intake, prioritization, and delivery of reporting requests.
• Automate recurring reports and workflows to reduce effort and errors.
