Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director-level professional to lead Finance Transformation engagements within Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI). You will guide complex engagements, shape finance operating models, and partner with CFOs to enhance performance and cost efficiency.

This role emphasizes executive communication, team leadership, and delivering sustainable results for private equity clients.

Qualifications

• 9-11+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience, including significant experience in Finance Transformation.
• Strong understanding of finance processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, FP&A) and enabling automation technologies.
• Experience leading engagements and managing day-to-day client relationships, project economics, deliverables, and multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Transformation engagements and workstreams focused on improving finance function performance, reducing costs, enhancing service delivery, and driving operational efficiency.
• Assess current-state finance organizations, processes, systems, and operating models to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement future-state finance operating models, organizational structures, and transformation initiatives.
• Lead initiatives involving finance process optimization, automation, digitization, financial close improvement, and management reporting enhancement.
• Develop actionable transformation roadmaps, business cases, financial analyses, and implementation plans.
• Lead GBS, Shared Services, and BPO initiatives, including feasibility assessments, operating model design, implementation, and optimization.
• Develop high-quality client deliverables, facilitate alignment with senior stakeholders, and drive adoption of recommended solutions.
• Manage engagement execution, deliverable quality, project timelines, and workstream coordination.
