Job summary

Verse Medical is seeking a Director of Payor Growth to expand our health plan footprint. You will own strategic sales initiatives with national and regional payors, build executive relationships with C-suite and VP-level decision-makers, and shape pricing and contract models that balance value and risk.

In this role, you will travel for key meetings and industry conferences, drive multi-quarter deals, mentor a growing team, and convert field learnings into repeatable playbooks that scale revenue

Qualifications

• 10+ years selling in healthcare, incl. 5+ years selling to health plans.
• Experience sourcing and closing enterprise health plan contracts, managing the sales cycle across multiple executive stakeholders.
• Ability to ramp up quickly on complex financial and regulatory domains within healthcare.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in CRM-driven processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with leadership experience.
• Willingness to work extended hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Own your book of Health Plan sales targets and quota attainment.
• Build and maintain executive relationships with health plan decision-makers.
• Collaborate with marketing on positioning, messaging, and deal materials.
• Design, sell, and negotiate innovative contracts including pricing and SLAs.
• Travel to customer meetings and industry conferences as needed.
• Identify blockers to deal progression and propose cross-organizational solutions.
• Turn learnings into a repeatable playbook for the team.
