Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Sales Director – Oncology Provider focused on expanding the specialty footprint with community-based oncology practices across the West US. This remote role requires up to 50% travel and reports to the Director of Sales and Business Development.

The position emphasizes building pipeline, strategic proposals, and executive relationships to drive new business for Cardinal Health's specialty solutions and distribution network.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of healthcare sales and complex account/relationship management experience, including oncology.
• Experience with contracting, demand realization, and GPO pull-through.
• Excellent planning, forecasting, financial and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify/target, build pipeline and close new business for newly contracted customers, maintain a pipeline within Salesforce and become a market expert within a defined geography.
• Respond to hot leads from Marketing or GPO initiatives to generate interest and lead to further opportunity.
• Collaborate with deal modeling, finance and proposal teams to develop proposals and execute new business and provide market feedback.
• Deliver well designed, compelling sales presentations to executive customers.
• Manage executive relationships with a wide range of professionals.
• Develop territory business plans; communicate real-time updates to stakeholders.
• Demonstrate professional development and stay abreast of industry changes.
• Mentor junior sales team members and participate in trainings.
