Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Director to build and lead a high-performing team of MSLs, guiding development and execution of plans aligned to Medical Strategic Objectives and Integrated Scientific Communication Plan.

The role requires advanced scientific or clinical degrees and extensive oncology experience, with strong leadership, collaboration across medical, clinical, and commercial teams, and a commitment to an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry including Medical Affairs or field medical leadership.
• Experience leading oncology medical science liaison teams or field medical leadership.
• Strong understanding of oncology clinical landscapes and US healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop MSLs to ensure high engagement and performance.
• Develop and align MSL strategies with medical plans and business goals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize capabilities and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with GSK standards and external guidelines.
• Represent MSL team in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.
