Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Director to lead a high-performing team of MSLs in the United States. You will coach, develop, and manage MSLs while aligning medical strategies with the Medical Strategic Objectives and Integrated Scientific Communication Plan.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, including Medical Affairs or field medical leadership.
• Demonstrated success leading, coaching, or developing others in oncology or a related therapeutic area.
• Strong understanding of oncology clinical landscapes and US healthcare environments.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with medical, clinical, commercial, and access teams.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management tools and digital platforms relevant to scientific engagement.
• Strong skills in data analytics, insight generation, and medical metrics tracking.
• Experience working in matrix organizations with effective stakeholder management.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive culture that supports team collaboration and growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead, oversee, coach, mentor MSLs and manage territory and account plans.
• Develop and align MSL strategies with business goals and medical account plans.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize capabilities and outcomes.
• Ensure delivery of medical insights across the business and represent MSLs in cross-functional meetings.
• Ensure compliance with GSK standards and local codes of practice; drive a can-do culture.
