Motorola Solutions seeks a Director of Computer Vision to drive the technical vision and execution for a scalable CV platform. You will lead an enterprise-scale research and engineering org spanning multiple geographies, owning MLOps from training to deployment across edge and cloud.

The role requires 10+ years in CV leadership, deep ML expertise, and a track record of defining architectural roadmaps and metrics to improve latency, throughput and reliability in mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading computer vision teams and scalable platforms.
• Hands-on expertise in CV, ML algorithms, and MLOps lifecycle.
• Experience defining technical vision and roadmaps for AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Foundational Research Strategy: Define long-term CV research agenda and foster scientific excellence.
• Technical Vision, Engineering Leadership, and Execution: Lead architecture and roadmap for the Computer Vision Platform.
• Organizational Leadership and Talent Strategy: Manage distributed teams and recruit top talent.
• End-to-End MLOps and Deployment: Own lifecycle for CV models and AI infra across edge and cloud.
• Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement: Define metrics for latency, throughput and reliability.
• Technical Innovation and Risk Management: Evaluate new CV tech and make build-versus-buy decisions.
