Job summary

BECU is seeking a Director of Technology – Core Banking to guide enterprise core banking modernization and technology strategy. You will lead engineering delivery, collaborate with executives and product teams, and drive agile practices across multiple teams and vendors.

The role requires 7+ years of people leadership and 8+ years in IT, with ERP/infrastructure domain experience. Remote or onsite options are available, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of people leadership experience.
• Minimum 8 years of information technology experience with delivery responsibilities.
• Domain experience with ERP and/or Infrastructure/Operations and/or financial products (core banking, etc.).
• Experience building technology platforms and leading cross‑functional delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute technology strategy aligned to business goals for core banking platforms.
• Lead engineering delivery and governance across multiple teams and vendors.
• Oversee roadmaps, sequencing, and delivery of enterprise transformation programs.
• Coach and develop high‑performing technology teams and promote CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with business units to define roadmaps and ensure value delivery.
