Job summary

Reworld Waste in Massachusetts seeks a seasoned Technical Training Senior Director to design and implement a company-wide technical training program, building a structured on-the-job framework deployed to departmental leaders and trainers. You will secure resources and drive strategy in partnership with senior leaders across the organization.

You will lead a team of training professionals across Waste to Energy, Transfer Stations, Environmental Solutions and Profiled Waste, developing curricula

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience creating technical training and leading a team of technical trainers in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of manufacturing principles and techniques as well as various techniques for training both technical and non-technical subjects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak in large group settings.
• Incumbent must be able to solve problems using LEAN methodologies to determine the root cause and develop a sound plan to address the problem.

Responsibilities

• Provide organizational support for curricula development that is role and activity based.
• Monitor learning maturity and ensure a continuous improvement for training systems and programs.
• Leads a team of colleagues with responsibility for training and knowledge management.
• Serves as the business process owner for all technical training including technician level qualification related training for operations and maintenance technicians.
• Maintains training infrastructure that allows for safe and standardized role-based training that is compliant with applicable regulations.
