Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Director of Technical Operations - Manufacturing & Fabrication in the US to lead and optimize technical operations across multiple facilities.

The role focuses on improving production efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance while guiding the fabrication and manufacturing teams. You will collaborate with R&D, engineering, and clinical teams to support innovative O&P solutions, drive continuous improvement, and manage equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing/fabrication, business, or related field.
• 10+ years in manufacturing/fabrication, operations, or technical leadership, preferably in medical devices.
• Experience managing multi-site manufacturing operations including fabrication and assembly.
• Strong Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence background.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM, 3D printing, and O&P fabrication techniques.
• Experience with QMS and regulatory compliance in medical device manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record per policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize technical operations across multiple facilities.
• Drive strategic initiatives to improve manufacturing and fabrication efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, CMS, HIPAA, and other standards.
• Manage technical operations teams and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and clinical teams on new products.
• Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, automation).
