Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Fabrication Specialist to fabricate and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices, ensuring fit, function and cosmetic quality. The role requires mastery of materials and equipment, and staying current with fabrication techniques.

The position emphasizes safe, efficient production, training of new staff, and adherence to quality standards. Strong teamwork and problem-solving are essential in a fast-paced clinic and fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years related experience, or 6 years without diploma in O&P environments that include machinery, tools, design, fabrication, componentry, etc.
• Technical degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics with 7 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication and repair of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices, according to Company quality and quantity standards.
• Perform ordering and receiving and other inventory tasks as assigned.
• Maintain 5s to ensure for a safe, clean and orderly work environment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements
• Train new employees.
