Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Lenexa, KS, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a small team in fabricating orthotics and prosthetics. You will coordinate resources, schedule work, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role emphasizes leadership, production planning, and collaboration with practitioners and technicians, with opportunities for growth and departmental reporting.

Qualifications

• BS in Business Administration, Production Operations, O&P or equivalent experience.
• Five years orthotics/prosthetics fabrication production experience preferred.
• American Board Certified (ABC) registered technician preferred in Orthotics and/or Prosthetics

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate resources to meet quality, production and financial goals.
• Organize daily work flow to maximize productivity while preserving quality.
• Schedule and expedite all department work.
• Order materials and components to meet daily production targets.
• Assist the Manager with recruitment, training, and staff development.
• Facilitate communication between practitioners and technicians for quality control.
• Coordinate with Fabrication and other departments and customers.
• Provide pricing for work performed.
• Maintain a safe workplace and OSHA compliance.
• Create and distribute department reports and summaries.
• Support Central Fabrication Director with personnel issues.
• Adhere to policies; foster teamwork.
• Perform other duties or special projects.
