Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Director, Business Development - Technology Alliances Manager to drive partnerships, build integrations, and accelerate go-to-market efforts.

You will manage relationships with ISV and cloud partners, scope and deliver integrations with Product and Engineering, and co-create joint marketing and field programs. You will collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams to generate partner-sourced pipeline and help enhance Akamai’s security and cloud

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in technology alliances / partnerships, business development, sales or related roles.
• Hands-on exposure to building or supporting technical integrations (APIs, webhooks, SDKs).
• Ability to understand cybersecurity and cloud technologies, translate into customer use cases.
• Familiar with Zero Trust, IAM, and EDR ecosystems.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
• Knowledge of cloud marketplaces, browser security, or AI governance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of ISV, cybersecurity, and cloud partners.
• Identify high-value integration use cases across Zero Trust, SSE/SASE, identity, and SIEM ecosystems.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to scope, prioritize, and deliver technical integrations.
• Develop joint solution briefs, co-marketing programs, and field alignment strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales and partner field teams to drive partner-sourced pipeline.
• Support marketplace listings and co-sell programs with major cloud providers.
